Thanks

Yes you can. You can make any combo of professions that you want. Some are more attuned to work with others, but there really is no wrong build from what I understand.

I know this is a silly question, but I've just received the boxed version of the game, and....I can't find the access key. At all. Very frustrating. And I know it's probably sitting right in front of me, I just can't see it. So, to all those who CAN find their access keys, could you point out where it is to me? Pretty please?

It's inside the CD case, on the left side at the bottom when you open the case. Scratch the grey line and only but only if you???re lucky will there be a game key. lol j/k

And that would be why I couldn't find it, because the inside cover accidentally fell onto the floor. *sigh* This is why I shouldn't handle anything technical (like doorknobs) when I'm low on sleep. Thanks bunches.

Default Arcane healers

I have some questions about the "Arcanist Done Right" build on the main page and other Elementalist/Monk healer builds. The description says they're good for PvP. Are they also good for PvE? Also, can you get a party as easily as you could with a Monk primary, or do you get ignored because people think you're a nuker?

So, does that mean that even all ppl playing on early release day will be wiped as well?

I have a question about starting guilds. What are the exact requirements? Is there like some kind of quality I should have for a website? and also how many people do I need to have as sort of founders? Ive got like maybe 3 others so far.

I heard there was supposed to be a list of emotes and commands in the preorder box ... but there were none in mine. Is there a same sort of list online somewhere? Thanks.

Because for me in EQ and all the other MMORPGs I've played I gain max level, join or create a high end guild, and raid the hell outa all the content in the game. I'm hoping that aspect is still a high priority on the devs list, or I'm not sure this is the game for me. Can someone please give me some insight? Thanks!

I would suggest you go back to EQ

You didn't get a Guild Wars Quick Reference Guide? Its just a two page foldout type "card" that has the keyboard and slash commands on it.

Anything good for PvP should be GREAT for PvE.

Any combo that includes Monk, is wanted for the healage. How you endup performing, will of course determine if you are invited by the same people again.

I have a question about skill points. I see that I get 200 skill points to distribute in various areas...my question is how/when do I get skill points? Do I get one SP for each level I gain? Do I get SPs from quests? When I go to my trainer(s), will it look sometime like DAoC where I'll have my "schools of magic" so to speak and I train my SPs in them? Am I correct in assuming that more SPs in a certain line grants you more spells/skills? Or is it just more powerful levels of spells/skills in that line?

I have a few questions. Is there any direct line of communiaction between players and the company? In WoW, they have official forums, and you can post suggestions are problems, and community managers takes these concerns to the devs, and they also bring info from devs to the players. Without an official forum with Guild Wars, I dont see how this can be done. Also, I was looking at the skill comaprison thing on the homepage here are guild wars guru. There are a lot of skills. Is it overwhelming or confusing? Looing at it I was thinking, "I would have no idea what to do." Lastly, concering PvP, are the battles instanced? Does your guild decide to do some PvP and everyone gets together and goes into the instanced arena? I read there was capture the flag, how is that? Thanks in advance.

That's my biggest concern too...I worry about taking too long or something to grasp the skills that I want to use and then kinda being left in the dust, so to speak. I think being limited to 8 skills kind of helps...unlike WoW where you can have unlimited skills at your disposal you have to pick them ahead of time so only have 8 buttons to worry about on missions and during PvP.

My biggest challenge will be learning what each skill does, what is most effective in situations, and then also which ones I prefer over others. I'm hoping the game has a strong enough solo/PvE dynamic that I'll have time to get a solid grip on the mechanics before PvPing.

I would not be so quick to make those kinds of broad statements. A shutdown mesmer which is critical on a lot of PvP teams would not contribute much on a PvE team.

And not all monk are healers. Some monks are build as a protection monks and/or smiting monks. Depending on the scenario these types of monks can be more effective than healing monks.
